I have always felt a deep connection to the world that surrounds me. These connections to place are deeply rooted in my work, which allows me to form narratives conjuring memories from the past and allowing new memories to be created. Thereby allowing a personal response to be experienced by both the artist and viewer.

As my research expands to Arctic climes I have begun travelling to Greenland to research my relationship with a vastly different region as well as the local inhabitants relationship to their surroundings.

My work has been exhibited both domestically and internationally; alongside this I have also completed several artist residences.

I am very interested in the book as a medium to allow photography to be disseminated to a wider audience as well as the notion of exhibitions. How my work is curated is a vital part my process as a photographer.

My interests also lie within museum and gallery education and how these places allow for an inclusive environment, allowing work to reach a far reaching audience.

As well as my photographic practice I teach in Further Education.

I am represented by Agora Gallery in New York.
